Description:

The Weltenburger Pils is the epitome of class, a pinnacle of 1000+ years of brewing history.

A golden yellow colour, with a tight long-lasting head. The initial aroma is of passionfruit and citrus hops, and a doughy malt scent emerges as the beer warms. The beer is refreshingly crisp with a wonderful interplay between bitter German hops and the sweet bready malt.

The Weltenburger Kloster Pilsner is excellent !
It has a sharper taste when compared to other lagers, very refreshing with superb level of carbonation.
I recommend when trying WKP for the first time, drink 3 or 4 big bottles without changing to a different brew, that way your taste buds can become accustomed to the full flavour of the pils.
Recommended for the avid Pilsner drinker and a great addition to the beer cellar!

Pilsner is supposed to be clear; not cloudy.

Pilsner is supposed to be clear - this is cloudy. I am enjoying the beer, but I won't buy it again as there a lot of better beers available for better prices.
