Westmalle - Dubbel - 330mL
The beer that defined the Dubbel style. Brewed by Trappist monks at the Abbey of Westmalle in Belgium since 1926, this dark reddish-brown ale is rich, complex, and endlessly refined.
Aromas of caramel, ripe banana, and special malt rise from a dense, cream-coloured head. The flavor is herby and fruity with notes of dark fruit, roasted caramel, and a touch of liquorice — finishing dry and pleasantly bitter. Bottle-conditioned for added depth and a beautifully soft mouthfeel.
