Chimay Bleue is the strongest beer from this brewery. The aroma of fresh yeast is carried by an intensely aromatic body, with a gentle, floral aroma on the nose. On the palate, it is slightly peppery with pleasant roasted notes from the malt, cocoa, and an almost port-like character. It is the classic among Chimay beers. Traditionally bottle-conditioned, this beer matures beautifully for years at cellar temperatures.
